Adobe Flash Player drives
innovation for rich, engaging digital experiences with new features for
cross-platform browser-based viewing of expressive rich internet
applications, content, and videos across devices. This beta release
provides access to the Flash Player 13 runtime for Mac OS and Windows
desktop environments.

Adobe Flash Player 32 allows you to view interactive web content like games, business presentations, advertisements.

Adobe Flash Player 32 news features :
Beta-entitlements tag in the Entitlement blob for app store build – iOS
Starting with AIR 31, key beta-reports-active with the value set as ‘true’ will be automatically added to the Entitlement blob of the AIR iOS applications, when packaged for iTunes app store publishing. The key was introduced by Apple in the Distribution provisioning profile and is required for applications to be published to iTunes app store i.e iOS applications packaged with Distribution certificate and Distribution provisioning profile with target type as “ipa-app-store”. Other packaging targets are unaffected by this change and no key will be added for them. However, one can continue to add the tag in the Application XML, if required.

Note: Applications published with the intent of publishing to iTunes App Store, i.e packaged with Distribution certificate and Distribution provisioning profile with target type as “ipa-app-store”, won’t install on the test device locally. However, it can be run on test device using Test Flight. For debugging/testing the iOS applications on device use the targets other than ipa-app-store or use Developer Certificate and Developer provisioning.

Screen Mode Configuration for AIR Desktop
This feature provides ActionScript level access to get and set the display device properties through introduction of a ScreenMode class and access to the screen modes through the Screen class. This feature can be used not only to boost the playing performance by limiting the display resolution but also to present animation as originally designed, especially on high DPI display devices.

This feature is for AIR desktop only.

The AIR APIs provided by this feature would allow getting and setting of the below properties of the display device(s) that are associated with each Screen.
• Resolution Width
• Resolution Height
• Refresh Rate
• color Depth

New and Updated Features in Adobe Flash Player 32.0: (December 8, 2020)

oday marks the final scheduled release of Flash Player for all regions outside of Mainland China.  We want to take a moment to thank all of our customers and developers who have used and created amazing Flash Player content over the last two decades.  We are proud that Flash had a crucial role in evolving web content across animation, interactivity, audio, and video.  We are excited to help lead the next era of digital experiences.

Adobe will no longer support Flash Player after December 31 2020, and Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12 2021; Adobe strongly recommends all users immediately uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems.  

Some users may continue to see reminders from Adobe to uninstall Flash Player from their system.

 

Flash Player Uninstall Prompts

Flash Player is installed on hundreds of millions of systems worldwide.  While many browsers will stop loading Flash Player at the end of 2020, Adobe will be taking steps to help secure users’ systems by prompting them to uninstall the Flash Player plugin starting in October 2020.  Please note that Flash Player’s ability to run is dependent on browser support so please check with the appropriate browser vendor for more details.  

Uninstalling Flash Player is optional, but Adobe recommends removing unused components promptly to keep our customers and their systems more secure.  IT Administrators can suppress these uninstall prompts by setting preferences available in the Flash Player configuration files.  Full details can be found in the Flash Player Administration guide (see ‘Suppressing EOL Uninstall Prompts’ section).
